Claudio Ludovisi- Owner, Co-President and Co-Creator of Avenues (Living Well Companies, LLC). Formerly Vice President, Corporate Domestic Marketing, Warner Bros., Burbank, Ca. Claudio's passion is creating and growing new businesses that add value and fun to people's lives. Mr. Ludovisi has 17 years experience in marketing, advertising/brand management and entertainment. His professional focus is on business strategy, process and organizational design, and global innovation. Before Warner Bros, he worked for Booz Allen Business Strategic Management Consulting for Fortune 100 companies in the areas of marketing and human resources. Mr. Ludovisi often guest lectures at Top institutions like the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, UCLA's Anderson School of business, USC's Annenberg School of communications, and the institute for media and entertainment management in New York City. He is also currently an instructor West Los Angeles Karate School, a not-for-profit martial arts studio. Katherine L. Saigeon - Owner, Co-President and Co-Creator of Avenues (Living Well Companies, LLC). Currently Chief Financial Officer, The Fuller Foundation, Pasadena, CA. Formerly CFO of The California Endowment, and Assistant VP Finance, The Kellogg Foundation, two of the world's largest foundations dedicated to health and wellness grant making (15 years). Kathy's vision reflects her in-depth knowledge of effective community based health and wellness models, innovative leadership development programs and education, and entrepreneurial skills to create cost effective, attractive programs that bring tangible bottom line results to companies. While with Price Waterhouse Coopers she managed client relationships in the Health Industry, and she also served on the Board of Directors of a large Health Care system. Content Creators and AdvisorsStephen Robbins, Psy.D.- Leadership Wellness Content Expert. Dr. Robbins is extensively trained in psychological systems management, conflict resolution as well as personal and group communications. He is also trained in psychobiology, neurochemistry and endocrinology. Dr. Robbins has developed deep expertise in mind/body chemistry and its impact on psychology and human behavior. His practice encompasses holistic, naturopathic, nutritional, physiological, homeopathic care as well as pain management and meditation. In private practice, he specializes in stress, trauma, and their relationship to family and workplace settings. William B. Baun, EPD, FAWHP – Worksite Wellness Program Management and Systems Change Content Expert. William currently directs the UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center wellness program for 16,000 employees. He has over 28 years experience in worksite wellness program management and served in the US Army Military Police Reserves for 14 years where his reserve duty was spent providing health and wellness solutions in Military Police units. William and the programs he has managed have received national recognition for their innovation, value and cost-effectiveness. He has many publications and book chapters concerned with the core principles and issues involved in managing worksite programs from budgeting / economic value to the day-to-day programming challenges for large and small programs. Currently, he is a member of the Houston Mayor's Wellness Executive Committee, Board of Directors National Wellness Institute, Associate Editor for American Journal of Health Promotion and on the Editorial Board of ACSM's Health & Fitness Journal. He has addressed several groups chaired by the Surgeon General of the United States and his strong facilitation skills and proactive orientation has been used in a variety of environments to engage, implement and ensure wellness program growth. MaryBeth Pappas Baun, M.Ed. - Health Behavior Change Content Expert. MaryBeth has over 20 years of experience as a wellness professional and health behavior change specialist. Her graduate education in health promotion concentrated on socio-cognitive factors related to successful health behavior change in corporate environments. Since then, her work as a speaker, trainer, program architect, author and coach has been dedicated to helping organizations and individuals craft their wellness vision and achieve effective results. She has provided wellness services to a broad variety of corporations and public institutions, including health and productivity management training for the Vermont Police Academy and the Vermont Police Chiefs’ Association. Her history as a wellness professional includes positions as health promotion administrator for Goodrich Aerospace, health education coordinator for Kaiser Permanente, and senior research coordinator at the Cancer Prevention Center at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX). She specializes in health behavior change for stress resilience, physical activity, nutrition/healthy eating, healthy back, biomechanics and injury management/prevention, and the psychobiology and health psychology of tobacco addiction/cessation and weight management. Rebecca Swarr – Organizational Development Expert. Ms. Swarr is Principal of RJSwarr Consulting, created in 1999 to design and implement organizational development solutions for leading employers. Her background is in the effective management of change and innovation. She leverages existing organizational and people strengths to create commitment and energy to move people toward a future vision. In this model, consultants and clients work together to form focused, winning teams that reach sustainable outcomes and change for clients. The firm employs diagnostics, human resource systems expertise, project oversight and knowledge transfer to ensure successful engagement outcomes. Lieutenant Steve Strull –Lieut. Strull is a 23 year veteran in a major US law enforcement agency. His experience is a valuable resource in real wellness issues affecting all types of public safety organizations. He is currently in charge of deployment of uniformed personnel on day shift, as well as management of Office personnel and investigative follow–up. Lieut. Strull is also in charge of coordination of community oriented policing program, the safety services program, the review of schedules for FLSA compliance, fleet and facility management and coordination of day to day operational mandates. He is also the leader for an officer involved shooting team. His background and training includes Weapons, Vehicle Theft Investigation, Advanced Accident Investigation, Emergency Medical, Officer Involved Shooting, Radioactive Material Response and Enforcement, and Incident Command. |
